A couple who ran a brothel and a nationwide escort agency from their prosperous Edinburgh addresses have been jailed for five years each. Based in the West End, they hired out prostitutes to guests at the four-star George Hotel, and supplied clients across Scotland and the North of England.
Ian Goalen, a former bank manager who acted as a driver for the business, AaBella Escorts, was also sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh. Having testified against his two former employers, he was spared jail and given hours community service.
