Manali to Leh deluxe coach service has been resumed by Himachal Pradesh Tourism (HPTDC) for the year 2012. Every year HPTDC runs 2×2 Deluxe coacheses on this route.

The 475 km long journey is covered in 2 days from Manali. First day the coach will leave at 11 am from Manali and will reach Keylong in the evening. After a night halt at HPTDC run Hotel Chanderbhaga the bus would leave early after breakfast and reach Leh by evening.

The fare this year has been fixed at Rs. 2000/ per seat. The fare includes coach fare, stay in tented accommodation at Kaza, dinner and breakfast. One can always book a room at the hotel at extra cost for the stay at Keylong.

Presently the coach will leave on alternate days till July 15 from Manali starting from July 7 and HPTDC hopes to make it a daily service once the season picks up from 15th July.

Manali Leh journey considered one of the most difficult but having the best of vistas passes through five mountain passes namely Rohtang-La, Baralacha-La, Lachung-La, Naki-La and Tanglang-La happens to be a 475 km long awesome journey and is a must do for adventure travelers.
