Shimla: With the advent of monsoon and dip in tourist  arrivals in the state, the government run Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) has announced discounts in all its 57 hotels across the state.

HPTDC Managing Director Subhasish Panda said, ‘We are offering discounts in all HPTDC hotels from July 12 to Sept 14.’ He said the discount would vary from 10 percent to 35 percent depending on the location of the hotel.

Full details of the discount hotel wise is available on HPTDC website which also offers online hotel and transport reservation facility.

HPTDC hotel details can also be accessed on the mobile by typing <hptdc destination name> and sending a SMS to 56300. Name and contact number of hotels can be received by the SMS.
